AVCO-ZIM UNDP
An alpha- amylase enzyme preparation for rapid desizing at a wide range of temperature from 20 – 110ºC. Used in exhaust, continuous and CPB desizing processes. It also is an excellent desizing enzyme for removing starch from denim garments before the “Stone-washing” process.
Properties & uses:
- A bacterial alpha-amylase with an high enzymatic activity
- Optimum activity is in the temperature range of 40-100º and pH range of 5-10.
- The strong amylolytic action of AVCO-ZIM UNDP allows rapid conversion of the starch size into dextrins, which are easily removed by hot washing-off process
- Suitable for high liquor ratio batch machines such as jet, jiggers and rotary washing machines
- Recommended for continuous steaming process and for the semi-continuous pad batch methods
- Can be used together with slightly acidic complexing agents to obtain one step demineralization and desizing process
- The addition of salt and Calcium into desizing bath is not necessary
- An excellent desizing enzyme for removing starch from denim garments before the “Stone-washing” process
