AVCO-POLYQUEST 1096 SG
A complexing and dispersing agent with iron specificity used for the alkaline pretreatment, bleaching and mercerizing processes, it also used for de- mineralization of cotton, and hence reducing catalytic damages to fibers. It also good for complexing Ca ion.
Properties & uses:
- Very high squestering capacities towards Iron and Calcium ions (even in case of high pH value)
- High dispersing property and efficient protective colloid, prevents re-deposition of impurities onto textile fibers
- Recomended for use in alkali processes and silicate containing bleaches to avoid deposits, very effective in case of a danger of filtration (package dyeing machine)
- Stable at a wide pH range of 3-13.
- Has a good complexing of other metal ions in the water
- Stable to oxidation towards peroxide
