AVCO-SOFT 1850
A micro-emulsion of amino-modified silicone elastomer, used for softerning textiles which imparts elasticity, softness, lubricity, smoothness to the treated textiles.
Properties & uses:
- Imparts smooth, soft handle, very good for OE-fabrics
- Finishing with AVCO-SOFT 1850 is permanent and stable to repeated washing. No need of any thermal fixation apart of drying
- Improves resistance to pilling and abrasion of textile fabrics
- Improves hand of fabrics finished with "wash and wear" resins. Can be applied with resins in the same bath
- Improves sew-ability of treated fabrics
- Improves elastic recovery of knitted goods
- Can be used as is or in combination with other softeners
- Excellent suitability for high speed padding application. The rollers of the padding machine can be cleaned very easily without any rubbery residues on the metal surface
- The stability of the product in high speed jets depends on machine type
