AVCO textile finishing program or surface modification is carried out by different methods with a view to bringing new and wide range of physical, chemical or biological features on the surface of the textile such as: softening, stiffening, crease resisting, flame retarding, soil release effect, polishing, hydrophilicity, hydrophobicity, sanitization, surface charge, surface energy, biocompatibility and reactivity, etc.

New products as well as new techniques are being developed. Due to the rising energy costs and the enormous expenses related to waste removal, Avco pays a lot of attention to water and energy savings during the development of new textile finishing techniques and products.

Avco promotes and supports the introduction of alternative water, energy and chemical saving technologies, formulas and/or additives and helps the industry in selecting and implementing eco-friendly products and techniques.
