A micro-emulsion of amino-modified silicone elastomer, used for softening textile. It imparts to the fabric a durable elasticity, softness, lubricity, sew-ability, smoothness and shine finish

Properties & uses:

• Imparts a smooth, very soft, drapable handle to woven and knitted fabrics of cotton, cotton blends and polyester.
• Finishing with AVCO-ELASTOSIL 1880 ECO is permanent and stable to repeated washing. No need of any thermal fixation apart of drying.
• Improves resistance to pilling and abrasion of textile fabrics.
• Improves hand of fabric finished with resins, wash and wear properties and the crease recovery angle, and tear strength and reduce abrasion loss
• Improves sew-ability of treated fabrics
• Improves elastic recovery of knitted goods
• Can be used as is or in combination with other finishing agents such as parafines, esters or fatty acids etc. The compatibility should be tested on a case by case basis
• Excellent suitability for high speed padding application. The rollers of the padding machine can be cleaned very easily without any rubbery residues on the metal surface
