AVCO-SILSOFT PNI
An “ultra hydrophilic” softener that is used to apply the typical "silicone" handle while improving the absorbency and the moisture transfer of the treated fabrics.
It can be used for finishing sportswear, socks, towels and underwear articles that need high quality of re-wetting and wicking properties.
The product is non-toxic and has no irritating effect on human skin when used on textiles intended to a direct contact with the skin
Properties & uses:
- Imparts a dry soft, smooth and bulky handle to all types of textiles
- Excellent hydrophility and wicking properties of the treated fabric
- Improves soil release properties
- Suitable for application on synthetic as well as on natural fibres
- Improves sew-ability in high-speed industrial sewing machines
- Reduces the surface tension of aqueous finishing liquors and therefore improves wetting out and penetration
- Good napping and brushing auxiliary. It can be used together with all types of organic softeners
- Absolutely non-yellowing finish
- Can be used in spraying machines
- Good softener and plasticizer for binders used in pigment printing
- Fabrics finished with AVCO-SILSOFT PNI, can be further printed on with pigments with no influence on the rubbing fastness results
