AVCO-MERCE WET
A wetting agent which is compatible with concentrated caustic solution as used in the mercerizing process of cellulosic fabric (20–30º Bé). The product ensures uniform mercerizing effect and enables rapid wetting of tight woven grey fabrics even at high running speeds.
Properties & uses:
- Highly effective wetting agent for mercerizing baths, and thereby ensures rapid penetration of the caustic liquor into the cellulose fibers. The product enables rapid wetting of tight woven grey fabrics even at high running speed
- Ensures uniform mercerizing effect when applied on bleached or pre-boiled fabrics
- Suitable to be used for mercerizing cotton knits and yarns
- A non-cresolic and non-phenolic mercerizing wetting agent
- Low foaming product and non-toxic and biodegradable. Its solution in caustic is stable and suitable for mercerizing woven fabrics and knits
- When lowering concentration of alkali below 20-25º Bé the wetting effect is decreasing proportionally
- Suitable also for the application in the hot mercerization process
